Employee Election Rights

For those of you who might be interested in the topic, Professor Rafael Gely of the University of Cincinnati College of Law reports that “the majority of states have laws requiring companies to give employees time off to exercise their right to vote.” He provides a list of links to state laws requiring companies to provide time off to employees to vote, or which provide for other types of protections for employees participating in elections.
